Default Can anyone tell me where this Steering wheel Connector is located?

It is the connector that feeds the steering wheel volume, channel, voice commands etc. Before I start tearing it apart. I saw Steve's thread on swapping out the steering wheel but didn't see it in the pics he took.

Thanks in advance:

That connector doesn't seem to match the pictures of any of the connectors referenced in the wiring diagram that are between the steering wheel mounted switches and the entertainment control module, SW002, SW003 etc. so do you have any idea what the connector reference ID is?

Thanks for the reply u102768. No I don't. Short story long, I'm attempting to implement a two in one touch screen by enabling a toggle function to switch back and forth between my Android screen and the OEM screen. (both views, one screen) As part of that effort, I need to also add a steering control interface, so the steering wheel buttons work on the new screen as well.

I'm using Axxess ASWC and when I enter the car ID on their website, they give you the instructions. The Doc shows the pick and indicates it's the vehicle connector:

Apparently I only need to connect three wires from the device as follows:

1) Connect the Black wire of the ASWC-1 to chassis ground.
2) Connect the Red wire of the ASWC-1 to a 12-volt accessory wire, one that turns on and off with the ignition key.
3) Connect the Green/Orange wire of the ASWC-1 to pin 19 of the vehicle.
4) All other wires on the ASWC-1 please tape up; they will not be used.

If you search through the wiring diagram for either white or 20 pin connectors there actually aren't many of either and none that match at all so I don't know what that could be, sorry.

I appreciate it. Can you tell me which page you found wiring between the steering wheel mounted switches and the entertainment control module? I think I can then just look for the color wire they're referencing.
I wasn't able to locate the page in the Wiring Diagram.

They are on the In-car Entertainment pages, 77 and 78 in my copy. The switches are about one third of the way up on the left hand side (Switch-remote-ice).

Well I ended up calling them and their manual is wrong. The connector they meant to reference is IP087 which makes sense now and instead of connecting the orange and green wire from the ASWC-1, you use the white wire with green stripe from pin 2.

Still working on the setup. I was able to successfully control the switch to the Android unit and had touch screen capability on that screen as well but once I power down and restart, BT from the unit won't re-connect.
Also too much jutter on the android screen.
More work to do. Thanks again for your help.

That makes more sense. Perhaps they should use the attached instead then.
