glad to hear you weren't seriously injured tberg, and, glad to hear that you did the right thing. if you're sure they were antifa, then rest easy knowing they'll be caught, as they are well on their way to receiving official US recognition as an international terrorist organization.

I wonder if the recognition of Antifa being a Terrorist organization will be fought tooth and nail in Congress if it needs to go through that channel?

mosesbotbol,
De Blasio isn't smart enough to make a decision based on potential outcome.

jons
I have no idea if they were Antifa members or not, they were just adorned in Antifa type garb and used Antifa type tactics. And if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck.....Antifa has terrorized cities like Portland, Oregon as well as others for far too long without much consequence. It's about time we got serious with them. And for a group that claims to be anti-fascist (but who are indeed the epitomy of fascists) they've certainly borrowed a lot from the fascist playbook.

Good to read you are okay, even better to know that there are still citizens out there who are willing to take a stand. My recommendation for the next time is a simple trip up on the runners, preferably the lead when they pile up, you have the upper hand and yes I am getting old as well. Good job, wear the bandages with pride.

In history is there ever been a society that has not eventually swallowed its tongue? Can any of this be stopped without extreme prejudice? I hope so... but I doubt it. Sitting around a round table to discuss peoples perceived/real issue's has worked so well in the past.

To the point above where we may need to fear using our vehicles due to perception people may have makes me go hmmmm. I carry and I have a little league bat in every vehicle I have ever owned. Never had to use either but I did show the bat twice. If everybody had some sort of personal protection the guy next to you may not be so anxiuos to be a **** head. Cops cannot be everywhere... but we are. There needs to be a way to take back our streets without fear of big brother getting pissy. I am not advocating violence, that is not the answer, but some respectful fear goes along way when your getting ready to be a ******** and you look around but are unsure of who is who. Thugs at this time are not fearful of us lambs. They are wolves amongst sheep.

Eat the rich is the thing, only people have poor understanding what rich means or where to find them. So they go by appearances. A $20K 12 year old car is "rich", but a brand new F150 Raptor is a "working class stiff".

On a positive note, this means that XK design held up with time - people in 2020 still associate it with luxury.

Riots should blow over , People know law and some sort of order Must prevail to up hold "society , It only can be changed at the ballot box in a Democratic way , Then fools like Trump and Borris get the boot up the backside . Money grabbing fame seeking Bassxxxxs who in their right mind other wise wants to run for election in their 70s should be out playing bowls long before that age or tending to the garden and relaxing

Its an old secret- the poor always spend more money. (and yes a car is the biggest expense- its depreciating and reoccurring)
The rich lack desire. Its like trying to excite a prostitute.
Then there is distinct taste for people who still have desire. That's what a Jaguar traditionally was, dream car for those who still dream.

George05,
The ballot box will show a far different outcome than you believe it will, this fall. Even in your country. The public isn't as stupid as you hope them to be.

Turning the military to face civilians... been there, done that, can’t support it. This is the action of the immature, unintellectual and egotistical.

Haven’t we all mocked those places that behave precisely this way? Over the 40 years I have been mature enough to care, there were tears in my eyes in a handful of situations exposed by brilliant reporters exposing the wrongs of brute force.

However, again speaking from experience, if I take the high road, communicate in an empathic fashion, (yes, With my fatherly tone) and let the audience come to a conclusion, usually it’s the right one.

All I know is I very very frequently travel the world, not necessarily to the nicest places, in the nicest situations, and make friends everywhere I go. And I don’t carry a weapon.

sorry, you guys started it . Keep safe please!

Times need to change ted , a black man has as much rights as a white man same for the yellow man and red man , the good ole US of A and its Protestant believes are OUT , the people demand that . Brutality in any shape or form are now being tested . says a man from the country who first started trading in slavery and invented the taking of Indian scalps and in some parts a Catholic believer struggles to find a job

Oh sure, from politics to religion
in my business we call this scope creep.

I subscribe to the religion of humankind. Do not onto others what you don’t want onto you. Pretty simple really. And I don’t have to represent any one group to live by this.

In the UK both politics and religion are governed by the church of England
