CATS suspension front strut repair
I have a 2007 XK with CATS and pulled front strut to replace the insulator. The rod seems to have withdrawn or lowered to the point that I cannot compress the springs ENOUGH to finish the final installation.
Any suggestions on how to correct this situation and get the rod at the right length?

Had to use 2 sets of spring compressors to get that spring short enough (rented from the local auto parts store). Compress as far as possible with first set, then use second set on the coil openings now at the top and bottom.
I might be alone with this comment but I found it hard to see what you were actually doing due to hands and arms in the way and some issues with lighting. Not seen these tasks on video before so it’s a very useful resource, for me it would be helpful to take more time and show more detail of what’s being done.
