Default CATS System Failure and Parking Brake Warning

I was greeted with the Triangle & Exclamation warning at start up this afternoon. The message indexed between "CATS System Failure" and then "Parking Brake Error (or) Warning.

Anyone experience this, if so, your help will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance...

This can happen if you had the car on a lift or jack. If that's the case just drive around a while it should go away. If not, you could always reset the ECU and then drive around to reset the suspension sensors. If that doesn't work then you have a malfunction that needs servicing... or a bad battery

I had the CATS warning once, when my car had been parked outside in freezing conditions and snow for a while. Driving around for a while cleared it.

As for the parking brake error, does the brake warning light on the dash go out when you disengage the brake? you wouldn't want to drive around for too long if it actually physically fails to disengage. Perhaps recalibrating the parking brake could help? The procedure for doing so is described in the manual.
