It's just a little thing but I'd be glad of a fix. I own a 2007 XKR convertible which is a perpetual delight (my 6th Jaguar). However the lid over the central console has decided to stick. I can open and close it it but it will no longer slide forward to cover the cup holders. Before I go to the dealer does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks if you can help.

 

No idea...let us know if they have to replace and how much parts and labor cost!! I need to replace mine due to wear

 

Lothar: you need to replace the console armrest because of wear? do you mean that the leather dye has worn, or is it something worse? if it is the dye, then this is very easily fixed with a proper colour-matched dye. Tell me if you need details of this - it is so easy. If your console armrest is worn then the bolster on the driver's seat probably needs attention too, same cure.
