Cheap multimeter
I'm looking for a cheap digital multimeter to check alternator output and battery voltage on my cars with decent accuracy. I don't want to go crazy with a sophisticated meter and see them fairly cheap at Harbor Freight for as little as $13.00 with shipping for a Cen-Tech and at Advance Auto parts for around $20 for an Actron. Any recommendations or are all the cheaper ones suitable for my purposes? Thanks all.
Even a cheap one will be accurate enough and do the job.
Spending more money buys more features (auto-ranging is really nice) plus mechanical and electrical durability that can stand up to regular use and abuse. A Fluke 113 for about $100 on Amazon would be in that category.

I just bought an Autocraft 85357 from Advance Auto Parts for $20. Saw it on ebay for $12.75, but I'll live with what I have. It works fine with huge display and shows readings to .01 I guess it's time to get rid of my 40 year old Sears Auto Analyzer! Thanks all.
