Default Cleaning the quarter windows?

I recently had the passenger rear window get dirty along the sealing edge- where it seals to the convertible top. Since those windows are only up or down, are there any tips to cleaning the edge (the top 1/2" or 13mm) of an XK convertible's rear windows?

Get TheJagWrangler's remote control for the top with the Rear Quarter Window add-on! That's about the only way, actually.
PLUS, it is the most REQUIRED accessory and/or part for EVERY XK Convertible.

Yeah, I'd thought of that, but since I'm about to sell her anyway I was trying to not invest any more money into her.

What about getting your other half to operate the roof switch and, when the windows are half-way down, you disconnect the battery in the boot (trunk). The window motors will stop ??
