Clear side markers for 2012 XKR in Canada/US
#21
Do you have a 2012 XKR? The XKR has a different set of reflectors that should be a perfect fit for your car.
Mine were around ~$125 shipped I think...from the UK to Houston, TX.
Kind of expensive for a set of reflectors, but in my opinion well worth the improved look.

That might not be your price. I dont know what the XKR reflectors cost, I didnt ask. Also shipping might be less for you, depending on where you are located.
Total cost for you could be half what I paid...You just have to find out.

Matt, glad you got them and you're happy with the look. I ordered mine last week for my XKR and they came out to $78 shipped. Pretty cheap mod for the results you get. Post pics if you can and I will do the same when I get them on. Cheers!

If you have a 2010 XKR, they have the exact clear reflectors that you need, it will replace the amber ones currently on your car. Look at the first post of this thread and you can see the difference in the pictures.
The indention I was talking about is on the XKR-S, and that clear reflector is a different part entirely from the XKR.
Does that "clear" it up any?

The 2010's have the amber reflector built into the headlight assembly, it looks like, as seen below.
I don't think it will work at all for your year model since it doesn't have the indention to put the reflector in for a flush fit. Otherwise it would stick out and look pretty bad, I think.

Page 1 of this thread shows the part numbers of the XKR-S and the XKR reflectors...I just copied it for you. If you know your dealer he might be able to ship them, but not all dealers are willing to ship U.K. parts to the U.S.
Take care!

I would say they are at least 1/4" thick, probably more. Also, if you plan to mount them to a flat surface, you will probably have to file down some of the back because it has two little plastic points that stick out and help to plug securely into the indentions.

I put them on my new 2013 XKR. Sometimes when I look at the front it looks so clean and modern with the clear reflectors. I'm happy with the result. Dam the Ontario required front plate ruins the picture. In Nova Scotia we only need a rear plate. However, the clear reflectors look great.
