Default coilovers on 5.0 cars

Hi,

I have a 2013 XKR, its amazing. I need to replace the shocks on it and I'm toying with BC racing's coil overs. I searched the forum and seems a few folks with the 4.2 have went with coil overs, I'm wondering if any owners of 5.0 cars replaced the stock suspension with coil overs and if you able to get rid of the dynamic fault message on your dash.

You "NEED" to replace the shocks? I take it because of the fault code?
Have you tried troubleshooting the fault before swapping shocks? Of course if you want the different springs it would be prudent to do all at once.
There are already threads about this if you use Search.

It's been a really long time since doing this on the variable dampening cars. On the 4.2, 2-stage, pulling the CATS fuse gets rid of the error, might not be that simple on yours but worth a try. As for fitment, no issues.

You can edit the CCF in SDD and change the CATS value to not fitted.
