Exclamation Convertible top

My convertible top open and close perfectly but the trunk won't close down 100% when I want to drop the top. But When I close the convertible top the trunk part close down all the way! Why did this start happening out of no where?? And its pretty weird that it closes down all the way only when I close the top. Do I have to perform the manual reset to fix this I didn't want to attempt if I don't have to. I attached a picture Thanks

When the top is in the trunk (top open), and the cover hasn't closed all the way, open the trunk and see if you can see the cover hitting anything that would keep it from closing all the way.
It sounds like there is an obstruction that is keeping the cover from closing (like maybe the top hasn't folded properly, or collapsed as flat as it should.

Thanks for reply. I'm going to check for that right now

I got it to work thanks a lot. My wife drove the car somehow something got caught in the mechanism. But it works now, I was scratching the hell out of my head. Thanks again
