Default Convertible Top

My 2010 xk convertible top will not go down, nor the windows. I changed the fuses checked to make sure that the cover in the trunk is set properly.. I read that maybe I should replace the relay switches. Can you help me?
What size relay switch should I buy? In a previous post it was suggested to replace the "top up" and "top down" relay switches.

Welcome to the forums 2dela,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X150 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Start by doing the front side windows reset procedure by holding for at least 10 seconds both up and down.

I assumed ALL his windows didn't work. I may be wrong though. It happened to me before in 1997.

Our sub-Forum expert on controvertible tops is White XK. He also is the inventor and purveyor of the one touch top device. His device is probably the best single addition you can make to your vert. Check out his website: thejagwrangler.com. There are several threads dealing with convertible issues. As a start enter your issue in the search box in the upper right corner of this thread and you should find a number of threads dealing with X150 convertible tops. Good luck.

Hi Ralph,

I got a good laugh from your unintentional typo - "controvertible" tops! That occurs when you've reached the limits of your patience in trying to fix your top.

I also want to correct the screen name of the Forum's soft top guru. He's WhiteXKR - Steve, the Jag Wrangler. And yes, his remote control soft top module with the optional rear side window controls is great - it's what the factory forgot. If I can install it myself, anyone can.

Anyone who doesn't know who Steve is, here's his Public Profile:

Stuart
