Convertible top replacement
I'm getting my convertible top fabric replaced. Am I able to put on the convertible Protectant spray on roof as soon as I receive my car back to protect top from water when it rains? Or am i suppose to wait a few months to put on the Protectant spray?? This is my first time having to get convertible top replaced. Reply asap. thanks

You might want to check with Richzak a forum member who had an 09 vert. Otherwise if you run a stream of water over your new top and the water forms bubbles you don't need to put protecteront on. If it doesn't bubble then I would put the coating on. I use the 303 product.
I pour it into a small bowl and brush it on with a 3-4" paintbrush. The only taping I do is the edge along the glass & paint. I've got a black roof, and noted zero problems with streaking or blotching, which was my initial concern with that approach. FYI.
