Coolant Temperature Range

Coolant Temperature Range
I just installed a OBDII based system recommended in another thread. I was going to set temp limits but couldn't find anything in the Jaguar Manual (XKR 2010). I called my local dealer and the service writer didn't know. Couldn't find anything on Google.
Anyone here have any insight?

The 5.0L XKR temp. ranges from 195*F -205*F and is cannot be set by any OBDII device. You will only be able to read various values but will not be able to change them unless you use the OEM Jaguar programming system. Temp value is set by a fixed thermostat. Please be more specific as to what you are trying to do.

To several of the above: I wasn't expecting the thing to control the engine. I'm simply looking for what the factory thinks is a reasonable operating temp range. I know the idiot light comes on too late as documented by members here toasting their engines a few minutes after notification. That's why I bought it.
So in English units is 205 F a reasonable level? I don't know. I live in a very hot climate, south Florida. I've only had the unit a day. Driving around in city conditions of stop and go, it reads 95C= 203 F. This seems OK to me. And yes, my coolant level is ok.
I'm trying to find out what the Indian engineers think.

I have an OBD temperature display with alarm and I first set the alarm on mine at 221 F and it occasionally alarmed on hot days (105 F) at stop lights. I live in Tucson and 115 F is not unexpected. I set it up to 225 and have not had any alarms.
In another post someone said the car will give a warning on the dash display somewhere around 245 F. (I don't remember the exact number in the post). This still gives some margin as the 50/50 mixture of coolant should not boil until it gets to ~ 260 F. That is where you will have BIG problems as steam does not conduct heat very well and your radiator cap will release.
