Cruise reading cruise control unavailable. Any suggestions? Serious problem or just a fuse Mabey?

Probably a low voltage on your car battery.
Before doing anything else, make sure it is fully charged and Holding that charge. 12.6 vdc after sitting for awhile.

Apparently there are two micro-switches (Switch-brake-1 Switch-brake-2 on the electrical schematic) on the brake pedal, one can fail, which causes the issue. I've had it once way back, but can't remember how it cleared.

You could try disconnecting the battery for a minute to do a reset to see if that clears it.

Same car, similar issue.

You really need to use a scan tool to see if its the control module or not.

Right now I get the same error message along with Park Brake Failure AGAIN ARRRGH.
