After reading several threads, and trying to verify myself, I was convinced that my new to me 15 XKR does not have DRLs. But, alas, after reading the Manuel, it does have DRLs, that come on under the following conditions:
- Motor is running
- Transmission is not in Park
- Parking brake is off
- Headlights are not on.
so, its hard to safely verify under those conditions without an assistant. So, before you start doing a bunch of wiring you might want to try them under the above conditions.

Drive into a parking space in front of a store with a glass frontage and you'll be able to see your car reflected in the window. Reverse into the space and you'll be able to check your rear lights via your rear view mirror.
