Any other car I've bought that has Sirius capability had only the intro/ad offer, then I would get an offer letter from Sirius in the mail.
This 2011 XK, that I registered around 8/12, has a bunch of channels, all ad free, never got a letter, although I've never subscribed.
Was it a subscription from the previous owner? I don't want to pay, but that Yacht Rock channel is groovin' me!

 

Exactly what I had. Eventually I'll put in the Mr12V carplay in there....
But the guy I bought mine from last month had paid through August.
I kinda got used to the Yacht Rock channel. 15?16?
When it ended, I went to the site but it didn't recognize my code from the Sat Radio settings.
Didn't bother after that.
Worth mentioning, I told that story to some friends at a bar and one of them said you can prepay for a year for like $5 a month if you haggle a bit.

 

We'll see what happens. Mine has the 30 pin jack, so I got a 30 pin to usb-c and an Airdual 5.0, that works well with Spotify etc.
I won't be modding my screen. I tried the Joyeauto smart box on my F, but it was glitchy so I returned it. Others have had better luck.
I've read good things about the MR12V.
