^^^ Yikes, that is some story. ^^^

One reason I have avoided a Rolex. No one is going to cut your wrist for many much fancier watches, but to criminals a Rolex is loud siren!

And so is a Jaguar to car jackers. Will you be trading yours in for a Prius?

I am surprised at the amount of folks that don't wear a watch. I feel naked w/o one. I have a dozen watches so I am often rotating. right now I have been going back and forth between a breitling navitimer on a croc strap and a 45mm breitling Hercules.

I do have a watch I never wear in my jag...panerai pour Ferrari FER 0004. just not right

They'll have to put up a chase if I am in the Jaguar. Car jacking's are very rare in MA.

Living in Boston, I am more worried about someone seeing my watch while holding on to a rail on the MBTA or walking around the city.

I don't think we have anything to worry about. We aren't even on the radar.

I DO have a Pagani watch, got it free when I bought my Zonda. It sits on my nightstand nearly 100% of the time.

Alas, I am not a watch guy, but I recognize that it is not necessarily about functionality as has been brought up. Just like buying an XK is not simply getting from Point A to Point B, it is getting there in style!

Well, I drink good Scotch...does that count?

Interests are so random. I have friends that do love collecting watches. I try to feign interest when they show me a new one, but my glazed eyes probably give me away. I realize that my own hobbies/spending likely has the same glazing effect on others.

I'm probably an unusual Jaguar owner as most of my funny money gets spent on active sports gear. 'Finer' things don't get much love from me at all.
