Exclamation Does anyone know what part this is?

Hi, Can anyone help here?

I am trying to find out what this part in called as it is now missing and trying to describe it to my Jag dealer over the phone is virtually impossible! I can't take my car there as it is over 100 miles away and I can't find anything on the internet.

It throws up the P0171 & P0174 (Too Lean Bank 1 & 2) which is how I discovered it the other week and thought I had fixed it, until today when the codes re-appeared and when I went to investigate found it was now missing.

It sits between the top of the cylinder banks and connects between a 5mm & 4mm connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not really sure, but it may be part of something called the "throttle body elbow vacuum line", which appears in this diagram:

The fat pipe is the positive crankcase ventilation line, the other is the throttle body elbow vacuum line.

On the SC engine, it appears to be a hose with part number AJ811093.

Provide the Jaguar dealer with your vehicle's VIN to ensure the correct part is ordered as it may have been superseded.

Thanks Ngarara, Looks like you have hit the nail on the head!
One helluva' part to track down. Will get a replacement ordered.
I have managed a temporary fix with a bit of tubing and all codes have cleared. 100 miles so far & no problems.

Thanks for your help guys.
