They are pretty sweet. A dealership here in South Florida had one for sale. Looks like a full on race car!

I ordered some replacement RS Side Skirts for that car...

Sure wish I had the rest of it!

Yeah, I'll pay the $30,000 less for 1000 more miles.

Regardless, I don't see the point of paying nearly $200,000 for a new car, storing it for a few years while only putting on a couple hundred miles (if that) and then selling at a loss. And if it was FINANCED, then Holy Mackerel dude took a bath on it. That $174,895 is hoping-beyond-hope for a buyer.

DRIVE THE DAMNED CAR!!!!!!!!

That's just showing the MSRP, asking $139k, only $5k difference... But who's counting right... Not me, out of my league... And I have to agree why would you not drive it, crazy...

That's only a few miles from me, I should go over and take a look, never seen one in person before.
I checked out a 4.2L XK coupe there before I bought my vert, just to make sure I wasn't going to be too disappointed with an XK vs an XKR.

Is it bad that I actually don't like the look of them at all really?

Agreed. But there's a lot of things you would just like to see in person.

Drove over to that dealer this morning to take a look.
Yup its there, all white and shiny, but its not on the main floor. Instead its tucked away in the back 'shop' area, along with a couple dozen other high end cars.
I dunno, with all the 'stuff' on its face, and the wing on the back, it just looks like its trying too hard to scream 'look at me'. The only other car that had that 'look at me' appearance was a '69 Camaro SS convertible, with 'Official Pace Car' painted across the side, and sitting high up on a lift, where it couldn't be missed. If I had to choose, I'd take the Camaro.

So I asked the salesman what the story was on the car, why so few miles?
And he said the owner has about a dozen cars, which he just buys, hangs onto for awhile, and then sells when the next new thing catches his eye.
Must be nice to have that kind of 'disposable wealth' (I didn't say 'income', because maybe the guy is living off an inheritance). Whatever, but if it weren't for the wealthy, this kind of stuff would never get built, so got to thank them for that.

Always felt that way about the vert's myself. Anyway, chump change for some. but they hide it away in the back room so the rest of us can't touch.

Well... I think they actually had some pretty good stuff in the 'front room' too.
McLaren's, Lambo's, etc, and a Porsche that was oddly roped off with 'Don't Touch' signs on it. Didn't bother asking, looked just like any other Porsche to me.
