Default Driver Side A-Pillar Trim removal (removing roof liner)

I'm trying to remove trip pieces so I can replace my roof liner. Is there a trick to removing the driving side A-Pillar trim? Passenger side came off pretty easy. I'm trying to not break it.

I had the same problem removing mine at some point (drivers side only) -- and I broke one of the clips on the plastic. Let me know if you find a trick.

I got it off with brute force but still might give you a call. I paused taking the rest of the trim off because my order the the new headliner was cancelled due to the part being out of stock everywhere with no ETA. Does anyone know if the headliner from the XKR-S (black leather perhaps) will fit. Or maybe another 2012+ model?

Yes they’re all the same. Sometimes no ETA’s a euphemism for NLA. When I had Jaguar replace my entire interior trim 5 years ago I was also told no ETA however Jaguar in the UK advised this was due to waiting on their supplier to fabricate new pieces and indeed they arrived with dates of manufacture just weeks prior to receipt. So perhaps you might push for confirmation from the UK as to the real status (unless something’s changed, your main dealer can send an internal query to the UK for direct answers)
