Default Electrical wrapping options?

As I prepare to install my Mr12V, (They are currently on a huge black friday sale, like 70 bucks off), My 08 XKR has that original gross foam wrapping over each bundle.
And at 17y old, it basically crumbles. Not falling off or exposing the wires, but makes a horrific mess over everything.

Want to wrap them, over the foam to tidy things up.

This is what I'm looking at buying for $10:
LLPT Wiring Harness Cloth Tape 3 Packs 3/4 Inch x 50 Ft Each Premium Fiber Wire Loom Wrapping Tape for Automotive Engine Electrical Protection (HC193)

Good option or are there better like the ribbed split ones?
Only challenge with those is I can't find larger than 1/2".

I would go with the cloth tape. The split loom is a harder material and you’d probably want to wrap it anyway to prevent the possibility of it vibrating against something hard and making noise.

That was my thought as well.
These specifically say to reduce vibration.

One that caught my eye because it is in several places around my engine was this:

But, I don’t think they are split.

Not split, but curled? If it holds the curl on it’s own, and it appears to be softer than the plastic split looms that I see in my mind, could be a reasonable solution (with a wrap of tape every X inches or so, to keep the curl closed).

I use that stuff for inside my computer case and associated connections and extraneous wires. It does maintain the curl quite well. I also secure the ends with zip ties just in case.

I’ll be honest, original foamy stuff is still holding up well, just a bit crumbly and leaves black crap everywhere.
