how can i check if i have that. i rented the mongoose pro from someone but cant seem to understand what to do. i found this video but not sure what im doing and dont want to mess anything up
VERY few versions have Engineering mode, and most of the time it's more of a "Sign in to Engineering Mode using your credentials", which would mean a valid, registered and paid-for version with full connectivity and a subscription to, I think, Topix.
Course, a HACKED version of SDD could be anything.........
Did you change from not fitted to fitted? Now you need to save your changes and upload the new configuration file. Then you should be all set and will see AUX as an option on the TSD audio sources.

Yet it's not on my screen. Is there another thing I need to be doing? Do I need to enable or run another module? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Ignore the timestamp. I've left my car for the day but it still looks like that minus the dab. I removed it.
Slash - If you are successful in activity the AUX input would you please post the process and the equipment you used to get it done. Your fellow Forum members with 5.0 Litre XKs would appreciate it. Thank you.

I fully intend on doing so. Hope someone can shed a little insight on why it's not showing up on my car after it is installed via sdd.
As jahummer said, looks to be already enabled.
And your screen shows the you have ‘Portable Audio’ and it shows a choice of USB or iPod.
Not sure what else you’d want.
AUX probably shows up with the previous generation ACM hardware, which you don’t have or need for your model year.

Usb and iPod were already there before sdd. The aux needs to be enabled in order to get carplay. It needs to be on the screen. If you watch cambos video you can see he has aux enabled
how did you manage to get that? I cant get into engineering mode to play around but if I could, I could probably help you solve it.
You need to buy a calculator I think they're about $100 to get into engineering mode. If you watch my video above I go through the process on how I got it done. But still no aux on head unit. Not sure if hardware needs to be there to show up or if there are any more steps needed to be done on a software side. Getting aux to show up will save me at least $400-$500 on getting carplay. It's the only way carplay will work.
first thing I see that’s wrong is up in the upper right hand corner of the screen it shows your battery is yellow which means you don’t have a charger a clean power supply hooked up so it’s give you a warning and that might be preventing you from making any changes. In any case I would not want to make changes with that being yellow as it could affect the programming if the voltage of the system is low. Also in later parts of the videoYou can see the little yellow warning flags in various places that’s telling you that there is a problem and you should click on it and see what it says. It shows that you are selecting yet but you’re not changing it. It’s hard to read the little screen graphics in the video to get all the detail
