Default Factory engine rebuild kits or aftermarket

Well we had a huge heat wave in California and was driving when the low coolant indicator light came on then about a mile later the engine stopped, I got it towed and the next day I attempted to start and the engine spun over like it had no compression …. Well pulled plugs and sure enough very low compression throughout the cylinders… I suspect head gaskets and warped heads at minimum.
i have 105,000 miles so plan on pulling motor to do gaskets and rering and bearings, I contacted the local jag dealership and they cannot get the rings or bearings, I see engine rebuild kits online but need advise if there any good ones out there or where to find the rings and bearings
its a 2011 XKR

I can't possibly imagine why.

LR parts are an option if available.
Best finding out what is wrong with it first. Overheated, snapped chain, bent valves, scored liners, etc. (endoscope)
They do not like being overheated. Possable thermal cracks in the heads and engine block.
The on line copy parts, like everything else are made in China and variable!

I would suggest a good! second hand engine from a breaker, with warranty.

There is a thread on the XF board on a XFR rebuild, spun bearing so no negative heat issues.

Not for the faint hearted.
