The batteries that are built into TPMS sensors typically don't last more than 10 years. So, if your 2008 XK has the original TPMS sensors in the wheels, it may be time to replace those sensors. Any competent local tire shop should be able to scan each wheel and determine if your TPMS sensors are still transmitting. Hopefully, it's the sensors and not one or more of the other, more expensive components of the system. A less costly alternative to the OEM sensors are the VDO SE53001 sensors that are available from Amazon.
