Default Fantastically interesting Check Light Engine...

Ran up about 5000 miles on my 12 XKR since getting her back from having the timing chain, timing chain tensioners, and all 4 actuators replaced due to a engine tick noise and other rattle etc.... was doing great for the most part and then all of the sudden last wed I got a check engine light?! Well it seemed to be driving ok wonder what this could be?

Dealership called to say its a "Loss of Communication" code. They are looking into it. Anybody else ever had this on their XK?!? I dont recall seeing one on here.

What is the DTC stored in the system that caused the MIL to come on?

Assuming you dont have a code reader...

get a code reader from amazon. Bluetooth thingy. And use your phone to download an app called "Torque" it will tell you the code.
Post code here.
The bluetooth thing only works on Android phones- get wifi if you have apple.

They found Bank 1 Exhaust VVT Solenoid Connector Corroded.

There is an "update" to the connector and solenoid as well - Part on order

I'm assuming you mean P0013? I'm curious to know how the connector 'corroded'.
