Arrow Bypass rear window for Convertible

Is there a way to bypass the rear window to roll up when the convertible top is down? On the previous model XK your able to bypass rear window. Im not sure if its the same procedure for the 07+ XKs? Anyone attempt to do this yet?

It is considerably more involved on the later models because the rear window relays are integrated into the convertible top control module.

I have this feature very cleanly integrated as an option in my remote top kit:

I was one of the first Forum members to install WhiteXKR's remote top kit with the optional rear window control module on my 2009 XKR Portfolio and highly recommend it. There is very little wind buffeting at 65 mph with the top down and all the windows up and a rear wind deflector. I did the installation myself; I'm retired and not a mechanic, and if I can do it (almost) anyone can provided you can read English and follow the directions, which are highly detailed and complete with illustrations.

I also am among the early White XKR Remote Control Top users. It maybe the best aftermarket accessory you can install or have installed in/on your XK vert. I cannot say enough good things about the product or the White XKR himself.

I haven't been around long enough to have been an 'early adopter' for the kit, but I ordered it and it arrived before my car was delivered. The first 'mod' I made to my car. Put me down as a 'believer'. It's the best thing you can do for your convertible (full set: remote top with rear window control).

I just installed the kit on mine a few weeks ago, although I cheaped out and didn't get the window option. I am very pleased with it. Its really great to be able to park with the top down, get out, unload everything and then shut the top without getting back in and of course the one touch feature is fantastic. While the installation was straightforward and easy to understand be warned that sitting in the back seat for an hour making electrical connections is a bit of a back breaker, lol.
