Default finding the battery in a 2009 XK convertible - RESOLVED

I tool out the left side of the luggage trim panel and could not see the battery. Where is the battery and how do I charge it up?

Mine is behind the rear seat. You have to go thru the trunk to reach it. It's next to the nav .

Unscrew the four knobs on the back panel in the trunk and then remove the panel to expose the battery.

Just to just charge it, however, you do not need to access the battery. You can use the charge point behind the left hand wall grill at the front on the trunk. Just pop out the grill. Connect positive at this charge point and ground to a stud next to the spare tire on the floor of the trunk.
