Default fine scratches on wood interior panels

Purchased a 2007 XK which was in excellent condition except for what appears to be fine surface scratches, almost like swirl marks, on the wood interior pieces. Does anyone have a method of removing them? thanks

Try a one step polish-wax like those sold from Mothers or Meguiars.

These fine marks are best removed by using 3M finishing polish (there are several grades) - much, much, much better than meguiar's or other commercial products. Use a micro-fibre cloth and a bit of the 3M polish (which also removes scratches from the paint) and polish until the surface is smooth. The WAX - several coats with a non-abrasive carnauba wax (which should be applied to the wood regularly - just as ti the exterior paint. The wood will glisten!
