Hi all,

I removed the Dash in my 2008 XKR to have the leather redone, and while I'm in there, am going after the DuckBill. Went to remove the Instrument Panel (metal frame) under the Dash per the instructions, which is pretty simple with 6 bolts once the Dash is out, but it appears the "Torx Latches" at the front of the Floor Console seem to attached to it somehow. When I pull the Instrument Panel up, it seems attached to the front of that floor console. I unlocked the latches by turning them to the left until it stops, and they're clearly loosening up, but still tied together and don't appear to come out. Do I just need to get the entire floor console out? Has anyone done this or run into this before?

I've seen that. It says to release them, but they clearly don't come out. I suppose I'll just remove the whole floor console.
