Wow...great real life pics. It looks like anything other than black will show stains/wear. On the F1 site they have a 'Snow white' color that looks like it would match my Ivory interior fairly well. Who knows, If I never get my mats from World Upholstery, I might give this a whirl for fun.

Yeah I'm not sure how much the color will affect how dirty they they look to be honest. The other car has black with red stitching and it looks great when cleaned up, but quickly gets dusty looking. I don't think I've actually really cleaned these mats out of the XKR lol. Wear wise they have done ok- I have some Wear around the dead pedal and the plastic piece under the driver's foot came off on that car (which hasn't worn through the mat atleast). I normally wear out my carpet floor mats too quickly under my foot and that car has some mileage out of it. All season mats would last longer I just really hate the look of them. Other reason is I have a TON of trees around me that drop pine needles all year in hordes. I am DONE cleaning pine needles out of carpet and these cover all of it up and I just gotta pull them out and tap them out occasionally. They also clean up fairly well from my kids messes.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
Looks like you'll need a sign on the car that says "please remove shoes before entering"

Agreed. I do like these-
https://www.f1mats.com/product/black...ar-floor-mats/

I've seen worse mods/additions than a nice set of floor mats. It's no crazier/worse than these...
https://classictravellingluggage.com...guar/xk-coupe/

I guess the nice thing about something like these mats is that if a person is interested, and can find a good quality set at a decent price, and then they don't like them, they can easily be removed and back to basics

🤔Ummmmm I kinda like the ‘traveling luggage’ it’s very useful and a great fit.. but that’s a ton of $$$ for faux leather

hmmm, 'Made in China'... I'm fine, thanks.

Here I can walk into any carpet shop and they will gladly cut and form most carpets to shape and bind the edges for you in nearly any colour you wish.... (Yes, laying carpet was one of those student summer jobs) Its easier for them if you give them the template (the old mat) as opposed to having them go out and measure the space.

You're in the X150 Forum, for 2007-2015 XK/XKR models. Your 2001 XK8 is the previous X100 model. You'll probably get better results if you ask here:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/

I suspect that new OEM Jaguar floor mats are no longer available, and you will have to buy aftermarket custom fit mats.

I just bought a set of the Manicci mats.

Bottom Line Up Front: They aren't amazing, but aren't terrible. Buy the cheapest ones you can find.

As other posters in this thread have mentioned, it seems like Manicci is just one of the several companies all selling the exact same product. Therefore, if you want mats like these, I recommend you get them from the cheapest source.

Here's a more in depth review.

I wanted a Weathertech-type mat, but as far as I can tell they aren't made for the RHD XK. This style of mat looked like perhaps the next best option, plus I sort of liked the diamond pattern.

Time to install: less than ten minutes
Tools required: none
Price: USD$234 (itemized below)

I bought the mats on the Manicci website. The price listed was USD$229, but I got a USD$34 discount because I asked for them not to include the rear mats, as no one will ever sit in the back of my XK. I paid USD$9 extra for clips and velcro to hold the mats down. Free shipping worldwide is included, but I paid USD$30 for expedited. The receipt email said "UPS Expedited" but the package was definitely marked from China Post, not to mention the tracking number they emailed me went to a Chinese website. So how fast is expedited? One day short of a month from the moment I ordered to the package arriving in my mailbox the UK.

Here's the package the moment after I opened it:

Here's a look at the material, as well as a card from Manicci apparently trying to get me into multi-level marketing. The silver screws hold the Manicci badge on. I wish the mats didn't have the badge, but I can't see it when I'm sitting in the car, so I guess it's fine. This is definitely not leather, I even sniffed it. That said, this vinyl is probably easier to clean than real leather.

Here is the heelpad. It's made of a flexible, shiny plastic that looks just a little out of place on the matte vinyl.

Here are the clips and velcro for which I paid USD$9 extra. The velcro doesn't grip the XK's carpet at all. The clips do seem to do a reasonable job...mostly. More on that in a moment.

There are no instructions in the kit, but it's very easy to figure out how it fits. Here's how the clips go under the car's trim. I have it spaced out like this to show how they fit; I pushed the mat up all the way to the plastic afterwards.

Here's how the mats look installed. While the footwell area seemed to fit pretty well, and the clips held it in, the clips didn't really work on the sill, leading to a gap. Also, I noticed the driver side mat had sill clips, but the passenger side did not. Not sure if the factory forgot them or there's another reason.

So my overall verdict: I'm glad I have these mats, as they will probably work well to protect my carpets and be easy to clean, but I wish I'd paid half what I did. You can probably find them for that, too, with careful shopping.

But back to my original quest, I'd toss these away in a heartbeat if I could find a Weathertech-type mat for RHD XKs.

I like them. I was looking at something like that for my Tan carpet and mats. They get pretty dirty.

I had the same kind of mats and I just threw them out after a year. They didnt hold up to wear below the pedals were my foot heel rests. I never thought about WeatherTech and they make them for my left hand drive 07, so I might purchase them.

Are wearing work boots to drive?
I put over 12,000 miles on mine in one year and they have not worn at all.

No I think its the way I place my feet. I seem to have this problem with all my cars wearing at the heel spot. I always wear sneakers btw even to work much to the dismay of my work. (my feet have to be comfortable, I only have one set hahahaha)

Exactly my situation. I have the tan colored interior also. We are expecting another wet winter (well, Southern Califonia wet) and mine is my daily driver. I'm also disabled and my left leg need a little persuasion getting in & out so the carpet along the sil gets scuffed quite often.
