I had my XKR on a lift to replace a sway bar link when I saw a foam rubber strip hanging down from the inner rear fender. I looked on the other side of the car and sure enough there is one up inside the rear fender. Can anyone tell me what it is for and if there is a part number for the foam rubber part? I do want to replace it.

 

Called Jaguar and they weren't sure what I was looking at but said that an inner foam piece was $70. So I acquired a piece of foam rubber for free and trimmed it to the proper size and used gorilla spray glue to glue it to the frame section inside the inner fender well where the original piece was. I should be good to go. It looks good.
