Default Front Bumper Fog Lights

Hi, I've a 2007 XKR vert and I've suffered a minor bump on the nose and cracked the front bumper. I've had a go at repairing it and painting it but to be fair I've made a right mess of it. I can't find a suitable replacement bumper for my year but there is a later bumper in good condition the same colour from a 2010 vehicle.
The bumper is slightly different and where I have lower fog lights the later bumper just has a vertical chrome vent. I don't mind losing the fogs but did the later models not have them seems a strange thing to delete. Other than that do you think it will fit ok?
Many Thanks

No details for you but, NO, if you simply want to swap bumpers

Ian Callum apparently said at the time that the improved output from the new headlamps made it possible to delete the front fogs.

I'm not sure but aren't the headlamps on the MY10 cars slightly different in shape to the ones on the 4.2s? (I know the later cars with LEDs had quite different shape lights). If the MY10 lights are different, then a 5.0 litre nose won't fit a 4.2 litre car.

If it ain't that bad I would use a body shop to fix the bump - yer gonna need a paint job on there anyway.

I concur with @McJag222 . I don’t know of one good body shop in my neck of the woods that CAN’T repair a cracked and bent nose. And fwiw, I would not put the updated nose on my car.

Get a body shop to fix the bumper, the school of hard knocks told me do not attempt to fix a bumper yourself - 90% chance you will make it worse and make it even more expensive to correct

The fogs on my XKR-S seem to be a fully integrated unit which is a bit annoying as there is no access to the bulb itself

from the workshop manual. Which is how I replaced the bulbs with yellow bulbs.

Yes but if you read my message and saw my photos that won't work on the bulbs in my car the clip is just a wire harness and not fixed to a bulb itself

Are you sure? If you release the clip and pull the connector out of the housing, isn’t the bulb on the other side of the connector? (Just guessing.)

It seems you have not consulted the workshop manual yet.
