Default Best way to sell a bumper

Hi all,

I need some input... I have a few parts to list on ebay, xkr grille, fog lights, reflectors and bumper.

The bumper is half sanded at the moment as I started prepping it to repaint but changed my mind halfway through, which is another story for a thread all of it's own.

I want to sell the bumper but need to make it as easy to sell as possible and for as much money as possible.

In it's current state I don't think it is an attractive prospect for anyone, so if you were looking to buy a bumper what would you be more interested in:

1. Fully sanded but unprimed (not back to bare plastic but smooth and flat)
2. Sanded and primed ready to paint. Would probably need a final rub down after shipping.
3. Repainted it's original colour, Jaguar Racing Green.
4. Any other configuration I haven't listed.

Any input appreciated.

Thanks,

Owen

Probably fully primed and ready to paint in the buyer's cars colour. If I was looking for a replacement bumper that is. I would probably also list it as pickup in person only as shipping a bumper could cause problems if it where damaged in transit. I don't trust shipping companies to not mess it up a bunch and I don't think the buyer will care.

I would agree about the primed option but I have noticed bumpers listed as pick up only do not sell very quickly so given the risk of damage to the primer the sanded option may appeal to some if being shipped.

If primed I think I would have to put a caveat that some minor scuffs may occur during shipping so minor prep work will be needed before painting.

I wouldn't worry so much about scuffs, rather cracking or fracture - It's a big, fragile piece when not bolted to a car
