Default front fog light bulb change, how?

my 07 xkr has the mesh type surrounds under the fog lights. I have changed my main front bulbs to led, much more crisp white light, now the fogs look a bit yellow compared to the changes. What bulbs can i use to get matching light color , with just swaping with no error readings.
Next how do i get to fog light bulb, do i have to remove the undertray, step by step if anyone knows.

You get to the fog light bulbs from the wheel wells. You will need to remove the front wheels then pull back the liners. Once you have access you will see the wires leading into the back of the fog lights. These twist out bringing the bulb with it.

I replace my entire fog light units with the ones from Adamesh. Once you get access it is just about as easy to replace the whole unit as the bulb.

Good luck.

You don't even really need to remove the wheels. You can just turn the wheels, remove a few of the bolts holding in the liner, and you'll have plenty of room to remove the fog light bulbs. They are H11's, btw

Sorry, I forgot the different bumper guard on the R vs Base XK. Mine is just the simple bullet holes. See pic.

I agree with Gray XK that you can do it without removing the wheels, I just found it easier to get my head and hands where I could see what I was doing. Maybe I just have a big head

Guess you are "stuck" with a beautiful car where you can only change the fog light bulbs.

Hey powerhouse,

I'm getting ready to change my front driving lights like you...I got that they are H11's, but what did you find out about the watts? Didn't get that from this thread and can't find anything about it online.

Thanks...Mark

I am updating this thread so that it is more useful and there are no unanswered questions.

The wattage for the H11 bulbs: 55

Keep in mind in the quest for extra lumens: Volts x Amps = Watts, and if you replace a 55W bulb with a 100W bulb, you may burn out your wiring or something else due to the increased current load on wires not designed for it.
