Front lip spiltter…..
A few weeks back I ordered and installed a set of carbon fibre lower bumper splitters and am posting a few pics for those who may also be thinking to do so. As a FYI, I did not like the look of the C/F so I painted them black. Also to note, for installation purposes, they come with automotive two way tape. I opted to screw mine in place, way more secure. By so doing, it also allowed me to bring them out towards the front more. For the tape application they would have been mounted at least 3/8" further inward. Post install, the initial look as you walk by the car is rather subtle, but it certainly leaves more of an impression that the car means business. Anyway, I like them.

To Stuart S…..
Yes they are C/F and very rigid. My car is lowered and beside being watchful of curbs when parking nose in, there are no clearance issues with speed bumps or anything else that I have encountered so far. One thing to note…. When I installed them, I removed the aprx 1/8" lip that borders the plastic cover beneath the engine bay area. Very easy to do with some patience, a sharp bade on a drywall knife and abt 10min to do. By so doing, you have a much more flush area to work with.
