Front and rear discs and pads fitted and a few pics
MTec grooved and slotted discs with Brembo brakes fitted and 3 stage paint and sealer renovation. Car now has a lovely wet look. Stopping power is way better with no shudder or brake noise. Less dust from the Brembo pads.
Got a nice pic with a fellow xkr owner today from the UK.

Ken Plant Autoteck, this is where i get all my work done.

Sitting pretty after polishing

Question, in the 6th picture, the blue 360 next to the Bentley GT. Is it just a shadow or reflection on the front bonnet? It looks like a 550 scoop has been put in. Please tell me its just a reflection

This an excerpt of a post i put up on mock up with vinyl.

Then this is what i did,
Took the lights out and masked the areas, 4 coats of plasti dip and 3 coats of glossifier. Came out good and flat with a nice shine. When i fitted the light back i found that the black dip was more of a dark grey/black if you get my meaning. A bit of head scratching followed. Then i thought maybe the guy who sprayed my boot spoiler may have some paint left. He had , so lights out again and masked the area again, 2 coats of the black and then a clear coat. Job done and IMO i love it. Came out better than i expected and looks good to me. If i did it again i would just do 2 coats of dip (heavy) and 2 glossifier, then paint your own color on top. The advantage of the dip underneath is you can remove the whole effect if needed. When you do your finish coat the tape has to be removed when the tape is wet.
