Default Galpin Car Show

Any southern California forum members attending Galpin Motors' annual car show tomorrow? I took my XKR last year and tomorrow I'm displaying the Pantera. There is always a huge turnout of cars and spectators, free for both, a great complimentary breakfast on the Aston Martin floor of the Galpin Jaguar-Aston building, and a fun day. Hope to see some of you out there.

Great, stop by and say hello. I'll be sitting next to my red cat.

Hi Phil,
Getting in is the tough part, once inside, it's not that bad unless you're wearing a helmet on the track. Unfortunately, with my size 14 shoes, I have to drive it barefooted as my shoes cover the entire gas and brake pedal at once. In Jay Leno's video on his Pantera, he also admits to driving it barefooted. Come on out and say hello. Did you ever get hold of the guy with the DB11 for the show? He's a TV and movie music scorer. Come on out and say hello.

Ted - If the XJS were ready I'd be there in a flash. But it won't be ready until around the 15th. Have fun, Ralph

Huge turnout at Galpin Car Show today of both cars and spectators. In the European lot where I had my Pantera, there were dozens of Lambos, Ferraris, Lotuses, Aston Martins, a handful of F-types, Audi R8s, a Spyker and others. Inside the showroom, was a spectacular Series 1 E-type and a new Bugatti. And breakfast was incredible. Attendance was way up from last year. All in all a very enjoyable day. And I didn't even get the chance to go across the street to the other lots that had many hundreds of cars on display. Oh well, there's always next year. Attached are a few of the 150 photos I shot.
