Garage Door Transceiver

I've had a '09 XK Coupe for a year without any issues but recently the left garage door transceiver button hangs loosely below the level of the other 2 buttons, even tho it continues to work fine. It's just that when I push it in to raise or lower the garage door, the button won't stay up like the other two. I can't pull it all the way out nor can I push it in and have it stay in. Any ideas and/or solutions? And, if the fix requires removing the panel that the 3 buttons are in, how is that done? Thanks.
