Steve, it's pertinent as weight saving in the car is being discussed, when the easiest solution if our an FB (NOT Facebook) is to loose some body weight.

Apologies if you are one and are offended, JH and I however are looking pretty good and svelte behind the wheel!

Mark your being absolutely ridiculous someone dropping a extra 10-20kg isn't going to make a significant difference to the performance aspect of a 550hp car (this isn't the tour de France) .

Aaah so you are saying that those ripping out their headlining as mentioned in this thread to lighten their cars (significantly less than 10kg I suspect) are likewise being ridiculous?

I've been in the fitness industry for the past 20yrs and stating that the easiest way to increase the performance of a car is to simply drop bodyweight and go on a crash diet can be quite offensive to some people out there.

You do realise that hereditary and lifestyles diseases along with permanent injuries are going to make it impossible for certain people to maintain or lose weight.

I'm not going to carry on as this thread is about building a xkrs super beast and nothing to do with building a body or ones body fat however if you have something to say I'd rather that you PM me

Thanks for the input guys! Really appreciate it.
Headliner was removed because it was sagging, and didn't change it for weight savings
Metallic green front on the wrap meant a metallic blue on the back, which I didn't like that, so the wrap guy said he cant go/transition from metallic on front, to non metallic on back. He is putting the colors down with a pearl wrap to give it some "pop". will see it when he's done.
I don't plan to race it in the 1/4 mile, so drastic weight savings aren't applicable for what I am doing with it.
Was thinking about a 4 pt harness as it would look cool, but passed on that idea for now, as I don't want to be stuck sitting upright if I roll it over without a cage.

That's my thoughts for now, will send pics hopefully soon.

I thought the XKRS has an X Pipe from the factory?

Long story about the car, will explain that later. My business partners little sister passed away before we had chance to help her. He favorite song was Imagine by John Lennon, the number plate is actually her birthday. This is the before (wrecked it), and design contest winner of what it will look like this week. Will share pics when we do the “reveal”. Will also strap it down for accurate dyno numbers for those who are interested Watch this video about the car:

The livery looks really fantastic. Just wow. You know what you are doing on the graphics. Really special and well done.

Looks great! Really dig the colour transition. Love to see it in person sometime as I too am a XKR-S owner in Fishers.
