Great review.
refreshing to see someone happy with an XK instead of an XKR

Having recently had to decide between an XK or and XKR I couldn't be happier going for the XK

While the default/recommended choice would seem to be an XKR, I got a 2010 portfolio vert with all the trimmings except DAB. I wanted an everyday driver, not a weekend toy. The XK is relaxing to drive with it's unobtrusive purr while cruising and growl on demand when pressing the loud pedal. The extra power of the R just seemed to invite a less relaxing drive, especially when the rain/ice/snow comes.

Delightful review. I was struck by three things:
1. He extolled the virtue of the headroom in the car, yet it looked like his noggin was ready to put a permanent dent in the headliner?! That's a big boy....let's get him in a convertible!
2. I'm always fascinated by in-car video of driving on the left side of the road... no judgement, I'm just transfixed. My favorite was going through the roundabout.
3. He perfectly described the driving experience. This car can be your daily driver, weekend getaway and track star....

That was my thought on the headroom too. He has tall hair though so who knows how much it was that. Im 5'10", 32 inch inseam and light, but my hair is permanently straightened and has like half a centimeter of height to it. I like sitting all the way down personally, and I have several inches of headroom. Several more than my X100 Convertible. These cars have quite good headroom!
