GVIF Interface install instructions for Back up Camera
flyc2c did an excellent write up on the install of his GVIF and HKS Camp2 gauge display.
He installed both at the same time so I thought I would parse out his installation instructions for the GVIF unit alone, for those of you who want to install a backup camera. I'd already broken them out for another forum member, so I though I would post.
The instructions are excellent, though they don't show how to install the camera, however, there are enough instructions on the internet for that.
After the GVIF unit is installed and you've run your back up camera, just connect the gray "reverse" wire on GVIF to the reverse lamp wire. I advise doing this at the rear junction box so you don't need to mess with tail lamp access. I've had no interference with my picture doing this.
