Has anyone Used Spring spacers with H&R springs. I have purchesed a set of H&R lowering springs for my 08 XKR , But with all the contravistary with not being able to do a rear alignment I was wondering if a person was to install a 1/2 " spacer to reduce the lowering to 1" instead of 1.1/2 if that would help. I know that H&R do not recomend spacers, would a 1/2" spacer actually work to reduce to lowering of 1" And help with the alignment. I have used spacers before with no problems on trucks but not cars. I did this on an XK 98.
It would work, but the spacer would have to be special because the spring seat is not exactly flat.
