Has anyone fitted bigger rims than 20" on their XK
Just wondering has any member fitted bigger rims than 20". Was looking at some YouTube videos with some XK's on 22" wheels, some look OK, others crazy. If anyone has can they post pics or videos. I like the set on the 07 in the first video, the wheels look big but the car doesn't seem to be high off the ground with the larger wheels.
The 3rd video takes it to another level 26" totally mad

I was concerned about the look of my 20" before I got the car but now think Jaguar did a nice job . These are a little to ugly for my liking. When the wheel makes the brake disk's look small I think it ruins the lines.
I agree with you totally about the size, i like my 20" but i think 21" would be my limit if i did it again, as for tires i don't know what profile these bigger ones are in the videos, the rim seems to be very near the ground, punctures and splits would be an issue.
The german company Arden has placed 21 inch rims on xk's

Can anyone tell me if a set of 21" wheels will fit my XKR, even when it has been lowered by 35mm with H&R springs? The problem is that the wheels I want only come in 21 or 22 inches. The XKR in the unloading video looks like it might have been lowered.
Sorry but not my desired effect. If I look at the gray one coming out of the trailer the wheels just look to big. Even though the wheel well is filled up it just looks funny to me. I guess the reason id the brake rotors look out of proportion for the wheels. I prefer to have the rotors fill out the wheels. Just my taste.

Those 26s are just gruesome. I'm not surprised the 22s don't change the ride height significantly, because they're fitted with lower-profile tyres so the rolling radius is close to standard - and that's my big issue with oversize rims. I wouldn't consider anything bigger than 20s on mine, because the ride is firm enough without losing more sidewall flex.
My neighbor saw me driving with my new Sentas a few weeks ago. Said it was borderline looking like I was rolling on "dubs". That's with 20's. It wasn't the look I was going for and I would never go bigger but to each his own. The weight of bigger wheels is atrocious but I guess people who go for the 'look' aren't going for performance, handling, ride quality, wheel torque and horsepower or speedo accuracy.
