MJB Did you use Gold Coast Auto for your headliner work? It wasn't clear who you finally settled on.

Thanks in advance.

I think it must be a British car trait, our X-Type headliner looks more an tent inside the car, and we're getting quotes of $300 to $700 and 2 days to fix. My previous Range Rover also suffered from the same drooping syndrome, and the glue used to fix it caused anyone riding in the truck to get high on glue fumes for the first 2 months! If anyone knows of a good shop in the LA/Orange County let me know.

No, I never went to Gold Coast. I went to Expert Auto Tops in Sunrise, FL. Small independent shop but the guy did awesome work! Was very pleased with the results.

A tip for you folks in central Fla with headliner problems. I just got the headliner replaced on my 07 XK in Mt. Dora for $350 plus tax. Nice work from Commerce Park Upholstery. A 1 man shop run by Mark who had been recommended by a local auto museum. 352/383-6786

He is an old "biker" looking guy with a big mustash. Take his advice on color selection. He knows his business.

All he does is headliners, convt rag top reapirs, custom interiors etc. Took an hr and a half to do the job and for $200.00 I was very happy. He even cleaned my entire interior after with a leather care/cleaner called "Hyde Food" and it looks and smells great.
I've got the same issue with my 2010 XKR. Did your guy repair the headliner or replace it? And if replace, how much was the headliner?
