Help! weird electrical thing
I must be very lucky.. (knock on wood)... but my original battery (2006!!) is still in the vehicle.. and its not on any chargers in the evening..
I had the above mentioned thing once I think.. but that in 2.5 years.. only thing I encounter is that my window does not always drop on opening.. (making it harder to close it).. that my steeringwheel doesn't always drop and that the battery was drained after the car was in a container for 2 months during shipment.. but so far.. it starts every single time
(and I hope it continues to do so.. as my license plate covers the manual override keyhole..)

What do we have to do to convince owners that odd electrical problems (and yes, the disaster of not being able to get into the car) are the result of a failed battery, or low battery voltage?
Low voltage will result (especially in the X150) in random electronic issues: windows, seats, touch screen, locks, electric roof, warning lights....and the cause of all of the "problems" is simply low voltage - this is especially frequent on cars not used daily and not used long enough to charge the battery properly.
The solution? replace the battery if it is more than 4 years old, AND permanently fit a proper battery maintainer (like the CTEK charger) to be operated whenever the car is not iin use. The result will be ZERO problems.
Now, has this been said clearly enough? there are multiple threads about this...
