Hope mine doesn't look too bad, but I think it'll make backing up a bit safer.
I'll add WhiteXKR's controller when it becomes available, its actually not too bad now, as I'm essentially always on the Nav screen, with the gauges displayed, so I only need to touch the screen once, to remove the backup sensor overlay graphic.

I'll have to see what options I have, given the cable length from the OBD-II port.
Finished up my final installation last night. After some trial and error, I decided the only spot left to mount the HKS Camp2 unit (Steve's convertible top controller already occupies the best spot), was to the right of the left hand RPD.
It sits against 2 bends in the interior body, angled in toward and against the RPD. The seat back does touch it, but I don't think it will be a problem:
hks_camp2_final_mount.jpg

I used some 3M 'velcro' like stuff to mount it, so I could easily pull it out if I wanted to.
I routed the cables just like flyc2c's example, with the remote cable being 'just' long enough, but the OBD2 comes up short, so I'm using a 12" OBD2 extension cable right now, but I'll get a slightly longer one when I have time, as the 12" reaches, but it gets in the way of nicely fitting the under tray under the steering wheel.
The cable would have been plenty long, if I had routed it on the other side of the driver's seat, under the molding and carpet, but I was trying to get the car back together, and didn't want to figure out how to take something else apart.

So again, thanks to flyc2c, for his excellent installation pictorial!

This just turned up on ebay. Pretty good deal. They were $750 new.

HKS CAMP2 Multi Control Unit Fcon OBD1 2 Temp Boost Pressure etc I F | eBay

This one has the optional boost pressure sensor AND the I\F control unit you need to make it work.

Update:

I received the HKS I/F interface a month ago and just ordered the boost pressure sensor option. Soon I will have accurate boost readings!!

Thanks for keeping the forum informed.
I actually have a couple of the I/F units, that came with the HKS Camp2's I bought last year.
I bought a pressure sensor (AK020) on ebay last week for $159 (HKS CAMP2 Meter Interface Unit I F Unit Optional Pressure Sensor Harness Set | eBay cheapest seller at the time), thinking maybe I can use it for tracking oil pressure (since I don't have an 'R', boost is meaningless to me (right now anyway, but that would change if I find an 'R' I like)).
So you ordered the boost sensor (AK021) right?

Yup!

Can't wait to have the gauge. The install, not so much.

Gauge finally came in! Now I wait for a few days off to install. I only work 8 days in April so it'll probably be then.

Whoa! Nice! I rarely get any time to work on my 'toy', as the wife already has more things planned than I have days off (got lucky last fall when she took a trip to visit her friends and relatives, and hopefully that happens again this fall!).

Installed the HKS I/F gauge interface and optional boost pressure sensor today. Works as advertised giving correct and full boost pressure. Surprised to see max boost is around 9-10psi. I was expecting higher. There was a bit of flutter in the gauge so I installed an inline restricter which seemed to smooth it out a little. Need to install an inline filter next but ran out of time. None of the local auto parts stores carry one in stock.

Install notes. On the right side of the "V8" supercharger cover is a manifold port about 1/4 inch diameter that angles 45 degrees rearward. It has a 45 degree connector rubber connector on it that angles forward. From there it connects to a small plastic line that runs in the front of the "V8" cover and splits.

One split goes to the fuel pressure regulator and the other to a check valve which dead ends and is plugged. I simply removed the check valve and connected the hose there.

I installed the HKS pressure sensor in the brake booster area.

Routing...

Carefully pierced the main wire harness bulkhead seal to run the wire into the passenger compartment and sealed it. BTW the "dust' particles you see is pollen. Love the south.

The I/F unit is behind the left side kick panel near the fuse center. I wanted it inside the vehicle and don't plan on adding additional sensors. I ran the harness to the Camp2 along the left side under the carpet to the rear where my Camp2 is. It was truly plug and play.

Was there an obvious path to run the sensor wire through the firewall?

The through bulkhead fitting for the main wire harness was the obvious choice. I wanted to do this on the other side but that wasn't going to happen. No easily accessible holes anywhere else in the firewall. I did drill a hole in the brake booster compartment into the engine bay to run the hose through.

Old threads never die. Thanks again for answering so many questions off line Ken. Question for you flyc2c, Steve and the group who've installed this.

Premise:
I think the common complaint is so you have to manually switch from the Nav system output to the GVIF Video source output when putting the car in reverse, correct?

So you turn on the car, HKS Camp2, GVIF all fire up. You have your screen set to come on when you turn on the ignition.

Then you select the Nav screen soft button on the touchscreen, then push a newly installed button to display from GVIF (either backup camera or gauges).

If I've got that right, I'm guessing the smart guys have already thought this through and determined otherwise but is it possible to default the FCDIM to show the output from GVIF instead of the OEM output?
Then use the newly installed button to toggle back to OEM?

I understand Steve's investigating an automated switch, but I rarely use the soft buttons with the exception of the phone. It would be more beneficial to default the gauges on startup (for me anyway)

You're welcome. You've got the sequence right. I just took a look at the manual online for the latest version of the GVIF (http://car-solutions.com/nfs/product...guide_V7.2.pdf , page 16, bottom right corner) and see that there is an OEM skip setting, which seems to say that the OEM input (Nav) is skipped after booting (power up). So that might do what you want. You could post a question on their website and see if that will do it for you.

Thanks Ken. I sent them an email. We shall see.

I'd like to have a backup camera in my 2010 XK but not up to DIY. Things like 'Electrical Fire' and 'New Wiring Harness' come to mind. Anyway, thanks for the careful and thoughtful explanations.

I too am only seeing 8-9psi with a boost gauge or through SDD. Would love more feedback on this because I have seen others note it should be around 14psi.

Also, did you remove the black plastic insulation from around your intercoolers?

Something to do with the location of the OEM MAP sensor. I installed the HKS boost pressure sensor and IF unit and all is well.

Unfortunately this adds a bit of cost. The "IF" is an interface between the boost sensor and the camp2. It's easy to install though.

Here are part numbers:
44008-AK011
I/F Unit Interface Kit

44999-AK021
Optional Boost Pressure Sensor - (Requires I/F Unit)
