Maybe you guys havent put alot of miles on your R.... but I am getting a fair amount of road rash on front of grill and hood( the fact it slopes from ground to bulging hood must be factor). Other than clear bra....anything else youve done to help.?.....with black it tends to show more I guess....thinking of ordering touchup spray and getting pro buffed and new clear.

I have seriously considered a clear bra, but in the end I just could not convince myself to have this put on the car. In fact the dealer recommended against it, as the clear bra can have its own issues including scratches etc., which cannot be touched up. I will get any chips filled and touched up as soon as they happen, and leave it at that. Our local detailer will do this if I order the right touch up paint.

Anyone else think the clear bra is a good or bad idea for an XKR?

I have neverbeen a fan ofthe 'clear bra'; I've never been able to come to grips with the 'seam'..................

and I've not been able to figure out where to stop if you do the entire front bumper and hood...

I know what you mean - I saw one on a 911 Carrera yesterday. And the point is, I SAW one...

Not sure how many rock chips I'll start picking up, but I guess I'll just deal with them when they happen.
