The plastic cover over the center steering wheel has a very small chip at the top edge. I inquired about replacing it and was informed that I would be getting the entire airbag approx $1100. This chip is about half the size of a dime. Any advice? I can live with this, but would like to replace it. My car is 2011 XK Coupe.

This metal sticker from Ebay is slightly smaller than the 2 inch Growler badge on my steering wheel, but it might work to cover up your damaged badge. It's available in black or red and is inexpensive.

At that price, it's worth a try.

 

This 2.2 inch sticker should completely cover your damaged emblem, but it might not work. I suspect that it's flat, and not 3-dimensional, and that the original badge contours will show through it.
