Hey Y'all,

If you drive your XKR hard, how many miles should you expect to get before needing a brake job? I get two free since my car is a 2011 (I think 2 free over 4 years since car was first in service...), but have no idea what to expect as a service interval.

I tend to not drive with any regard to 'saving' the brakes (e.g. extreme anticipation of slowing down and not braking). Not that I accelerate into red lights or anything, but I live on a steep hill and just drive naturally, with no concern that I'm over-using the brakes.

And I tend to 'performance' drive when safe, including the heavy braking involved in such pursuits...

I'm guessing 2010+ cars will chew through brakes faster (heavier engine + more power probably = more brake action), so for those of you with 2010+ XKR's that have had brake jobs, how many miles did you have on the clock when you needed new brakes? Did they do pads, or pads and rotors? Are rotor replacements a given with these cars, or do they last more than one set of (factory) pads?
