I just finished reading 2012 XK manual and one question I have remaining is how to tow it if I ever need to? Here is what I've learned from the manual

1. I need a flatbed
2. I need to put car into "Emergency Park Release" mode in order to keep transmission in "N"

What it does not say is how to force "Emergency Park Release" mode. Without it, transmission will be locked in "P", which is not good if you try to put your car on a flatbed. Manual suggests using a qualified technician to do that. Really? So, if a car breaks down and I am stuck somewhere and qualified tech is not available, how do you tow your car? How do we force transmission to stay in "N"?
